   The mission of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is to support the research and program development efforts of faculty, staff and students by providing the resources, information, and technical assistance required.

The role of the ORSP includes, but is not limited to:

  • Identification of funding sources
  • Development of proposals
  • Internal review and approval
  • Physical submission of proposals
  • Information follow-up
  • Award negotiation
  • Receipt and execution of award
  • Post-award administration
  • Timely and complete closeout
  • Development and implementation of policies and procedures related to sponsored programs
  • Compliance requirements associated with sponsored programs
