If you don't see an organization that matches your interests, email FSUorganizations@frostburg.edu. A member of the Student Engagement team will schedule an appointment to walk you through the process of starting a new organization and guide you on next steps.
New Organization Pre-Application Checklist
Before beginning your application, ensure you have considered the following key steps:
Minimum Interest: Do you have at least 8 students interested in forming the organization?
Category Selection: Department Sponsored, Programming, Membership Selection, Registered Club, or Athletics.
Purpose & Goals: Clear 2–4 sentence statement of purpose, goals, and how you will serve the student body.
Operations & Finance: Strategy for activities, leadership structure, committees, event timelines, and funding sources (dues, fundraising, SGA requests).
