How long have you worked at FSU?

I've been working in Mailing and Printing Services for four years now, but as a student, I worked in ID Services for two years.

What 3 words can you use to describe FSU?

Community, Close-knit, Home

List any professional or personal accomplishments we can celebrate with you.

Professionally, I received one of the 2025 Staff Awards for Excellence here at FSU. It was such an honor. A personal accomplishment was becoming a first-time homeowner this year with my boyfriend Mason Weatherholt ‘20, which has been a huge accomplishment for us.

What is your favorite thing about working at Frostburg State University?

My favorite thing about working here is the people. Getting to meet and help everyone around campus has really made this job so enjoyable. I definitely always feel needed.

What advice would you give to current students?

Enjoy your time as a student; it can be one of the best times to learn who you are and where you want to go in life.

Is there a faculty and/or staff member that you consider a mentor? If so, why?

I would have to say it's my manager, Ken Emerick ‘98. From day one, he has been supportive in my duties and always welcomes new ideas and projects to help support our workflow. He has advocated for me getting into the ADAPT Program that supports workforce development for admins and also in my creative endeavors as an artist.

What is a cause dear to your heart?

I'm a big animal lover, so being able to support local shelters whenever I can is important to me.

What do you do for fun?

For fun, I love to do many artsy things, but knitting and quilting have been at the top of my list lately.
